Our platform is built to support Purchase Protection, Account Protection, Loss Prevention and various Assessment protection. Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, reliability, scalability, latency, security, resiliency, and efficiency of a service
Contribute to debugging, troubleshooting complete stack of a service and drive analysis of an outage
Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning
Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements
Conduct periodic on call duties
QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience coding in C#, Java or Python
OR equivalent work experience.
2+ years of demonstrated experience in the entire software development life-cycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and live site support.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with large-scale distributed systems
Experience developing solutions that are Cloud-enabled (i.e. Azure, AWS, Google)
Experience designing/developing fraud protection related solutions
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
