UI Tech Artist needed for a contract opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced UI Implementation Artist to join our team. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to impact the future of one of the industry's most successful franchises through your talent, creativity, technical ability and knowledge.
IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:
A detail-oriented UI implementor who will help craft industry-leading HUD and front-end UI. While this is not an engineering role, creating real-time UI can be technically complex and we do expect a technically adept artist who can quickly adapt to in-house tools and script environments.
Qualifications:
3+ years of related experience
Experience with one or more major UI creation toolsets such as HTML5, Flash, Sketch, Microsoft Blend, Unity, Unreal
Portfolio that demonstrates examples of user interface implementation across a variety of projects
Experience shipping content with limited performance budget
Sensitivity and discerning eye for following typography and layout redlines
Interest in accessibility and multi-platform scalable UI preferred
Top skills:
Attention to Detail - following red lines and using style guides to get to the pixel perfect layout
UX/UI Design background or Art Background (3+ years)
Self-motivated proactive problem solver

Implement UI screens for interactive game features including data driven dynamic layouts, animations, and transitions
Work from visual comps, motions designs and style guides to translate complex UX wireframe diagrams and UI visual concepts into in-game UI
Use Sketch and XAML pipeline to deliver a large scale of UI content
Work in a dynamic team environment with a mix of developers, designers, and other technical UI artists to deliver UI screens
