Operations Training Qualifications Specialist

Reports to the WTCC Operations Training Supervisor. Will support Operations Training with qualification development, surveillances and corrective action management. Will perform assignments applying the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Will focus on qualifications and On-the-Job training material. Will perform OJT/OJE Surveillances on all qualified OJT Instructors. Will deliver OJT/OJE Training.This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCCMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS

Assist with requirement area surveillances and assessments of performance to ensure operations personnel are performing their assignments in accordance with approved requirement area procedures and practices.

Perform OJT/OJE Observations.

Perform data input and manipulation in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Vision.

Work to a production schedule meeting project and industry standards for material produced.

Support a strong Nuclear Safety Quality Culture (NSQC) by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment.

Education and ExperienceHigh School (HS) Diploma and 8 years of experience in applying a systematic approach to training (SAT) consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a high hazardous or nuclear facility. Associate degree and 6 years of experience in applying a systematic approach to training (SAT) consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a high hazardous or nuclear facility. Bachelor of Arts or Science and 4 years of experience in applying a systematic approach to training (SAT) consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a high hazardous or nuclear facility.ADDITIONAL WTCC REQUIREMENTS

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office

PREFERRED CANDIDATES’ REQUIREMENTS

Experience with OJT/OJE delivery.

Experience with Qualification cards and qualification tracking.

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts or Associate degree, preferably with emphasis in either education or training (with focus on instructional analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing, as well as evaluation of training programs),

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS(EFNM) Exposed Field Non-ManualPerforms desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.Must be able to work in the United States without SponsorshipMust be able to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) badge for access to the Hanford site .COMPENSATION & BENEFITSHIRING SALARY RANGE: $99,193.03 - $154,255.09 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)This position includes a competitive benefits package.
