OverviewWe’re seeking a detail-oriented team member who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders in support of our Configuration and Document Management Program. Help develop, revise, coordination and oversee the variety of documents and deployment methods in PNNL Operations Systems Directorate.This is a position for a detail oriented multi-tasker, who is creative in developing solutions to a variety of concerns relating to procedures, requirements, checklists, program descriptions, plans and other approved documents. In this role, you will leverage your organizational talents to assist subject matter experts in conveying their requirements in a compliant and effective method encompassing a variety of documentation and deployment methods. You will be training under the document management subject matter expert to assist in requirements implementation and providing guidance to directorate staff.You will facilitate the procedure review, revision, approval, and records management of project and program documents through a collaborative process. You will research options for procedural compliance and effectiveness to provide guidance to our staff. You will also steward the deployment of the approved documents through an established change management process to include aspects of tracking, training, awareness messaging, and communications. In addition, you will analyze procedural changes to identify opportunities for improvement, clarity, and configuration management needs.ResponsibilitiesYou are a listener, an organizational superstar and an expert in multi-tasking. You will have multiple priorities with complexities requiring you to analyze and identify appropriate solutions. You will collaborate with organizational experts and leadership. Your quality of work is excellent, your documents are accurate, and you enjoy data analysis. You are a good communicator and are comfortable working with a diverse group of people, contacting customers to explain processes, and you have excellent interpersonal interactions. You will increase the interdisciplinary understanding and transparency among staff on the requisite document changes.You will review procedures, establish processes, and exercise your judgement in determining the appropriate actions to take. You will spend a large amount of time interacting with individuals to help them with inquiries and questions, while displaying excellent customer service. You will learn the governing documents and implementation methods of applicable requirements and assist with developing solutions, tasks, and other actions. You will provide guidance to processors within the document management team on situations that are complex and assist in developing solutions that meet compliance requirements and deliver effectiveness.This position requires the ability to acquire, review, analyze, and process sensitive information. You will handle business sensitive information and demonstrate discretion and good operational security. There are multiple possibilities for configuration management, and you will be expected to identify the solution to a variety of complex problems and explain the appropriate resolution to staff. You will be expected to exercise judgment and apply solutions in determining appropriate actions. You will coordination the standardized process of the individual components of a document and its deployment.

Collaborate with subject matter experts on tasks and deliverables

Ensure quality of and accuracy of information in produced deliverables

Build and maintain relationships within the Operational Systems Directorate, organizational content owners, and stakeholders for requirements deployment

Display a high degree of customer service in all interactions with strong organizational skills

Maintain precise documentation to record decisions, recommendations, conclusions, errors, or other applicable findings

Prepare procedures and other approved documents for record keeping and deployment

Research procedural changes to verify compliance and distribution needs are met

Possess the ability to effectively interface and collaborate with a diverse set of customers both internal and external

Provide technical direction to PNNL staff on appropriate actions to take for developing and revising procedures

Continue to improve the PNNL safety and security culture

Assist customers in procedure writing and message delivery

Take on additional work and duties within job family expectations, as assigned by your line manager

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

BS/BA and 7 years of relevant experience -OR-

MS/MA or higher and 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Procedure writing experience with a focus on quality control

Experience working in configuration management or document managementA background in requirements development or deployment

Detail oriented

Exemplary customer service skills

Knowledge of file management or records storage

Is able to work in a team environment with multiple groups to meet business goals
