As a Process Assistant in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Rods/Bundles/Cages Product Center in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:
May be required to work around radioactive and/or corrosive chemicals and must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.
Procedure Coordinator
Provides support in developing and maintaining production procedures.
Update floor issued SWIs and AIDS as needed.
Monitor and track Standard Work Audit Cards; maintain spreadsheet with data; report monthly status to Manager.
Observations and Suggestions for Improvement Coordinator
Compile and screen Observation Cards for RBC.
Monitor and track Suggestions for Improvement.
Training Coordinator
Provide RBC specific training during the New Hire Onboarding process
Review OJT, SKILLS DEMO, Exams and update as necessary.
Site Receipt Inspection Coordinator
Oversee Receipt Inspections for fuel deliveries.
Coordinate with Scheduling and Project Managers the delivery dates for fuel assemblies as well as receipt inspector arrival dates and duration at customer site.
Purchase Coordinator
Ensure that Purchase Requests are made to avoid downtime and delays.
Orders parts and supplies as needed.
Maintains appropriate records.
Reviews production documentation for application for the product centers (optimization).
Assist or perform special projects.
Interfaces with supervisor/engineer.
May conduct readiness review meeting for new projects.
May assist in maintaining Key Performance Indicator metrics.
Interfaces with other product centers to assist in achieving operational goals.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $29.00 - $37.98 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
