The mission is to safely store, retrieve, and treat 56 million gallons of legacy radioactive and hazardous waste dating back to the Manhattan Project and Cold War.Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks an ETF Work Control Planner, who will be responsible for preparing, tracking, and controlling work packages in accordance with work control processes. This position will be responsible for ensuring Maintenance and construction work packages are developed efficiently, effectively, compliantly to meet scheduling needs for various facilities.

Conduct planning meetings, job hazard analysis and provides planning status for project schedules.

Provide analysis of planning areas of concern and provides recommendations to management for resolution.

Act as a technical representative to management in area of specialization.

Prepare, track, and control work orders, required to accomplish assigned activities.

When directed by management, provides Work Order Review and Approval (WORA) system approval of other members of the planning staff.

Provide oversight to less senior members of the planning team for preparation of work orders and work activity schedules.

Under minimal supervision, the individual in this position will analyze planning processes for efficiency and make technical recommendations to management.

With minimal input from fieldwork supervisor, estimates, and establishes man-hours, material, and manpower, needed for job completion.

Develop Material Requests and completes Plant Force Work Review as required.

Complete Planner Post reviews.

Must be a team player with a positive outlook in a customer service-oriented organization; and

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required QualificationsGraded 18:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business, Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management or in related discipline; and

Eight (8) years of practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education (e.g., trade school degree) and directly related experience.

Grade 19:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business, Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management or related discipline; and

Nine (9) years of practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education (e.g., trade school degree) and directly related experience.

Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.Grade 20:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business, Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management or related discipline; and

Ten (10+) years of practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education (e.g., trade school degree) and directly related experience.

Electrical planning, maintenance or construction craft experience, or Field Work Supervision experience desirable.

Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and CM planning at Tank Farms or Category 2 Nuclear Facilities is desired.

Previous WRPS Planner Qualification, High Risk/Complexity work planning highly desirable.

Mechanical, radiological work experience and electrical aptitude desired.

A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted.
