Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Systems Designer II in SeaTac, WA for a contract of 12 months+
Technical Systems Designer
Contract
Responsibilities:
Generate 3-D models, component drawings, assembly drawings, and interface control documents with application of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
Maintain configuration management of components and assemblies
Create documentation for assembly of development and flight hardware
Provide manufacturing and production support
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience designing Aerospace or equivalent fluid and mechanical system elements within aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicles.
Strong mechanical design and integration skills using 3D modeling tools (CREO and Windchill preferred).
Experience designing and analyzing pipe and tube systems
Knowledge of components typically used in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
Experience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings
or permanent resident (current ), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
Experience in aerospace fluid, mechanical or pneumatic systems design
Experience with Creo (Pro-E) piping and routed system tools
Experience with Creo (Pro-E) surfacing tools
Basic understanding of static structural design and analysis
