We are looking for a stellar new team player to join our dedicated team of property management maintenance professionals!

Experienced Painter:

We are looking for an experienced painter to paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings and other surfaces. An experienced painter, under the direction of the Commercial Property Manager and Vice President, is responsible for the overall appearance of the commercial properties and residential properties. Our goal is to deliver high-quality painting work.

Job Description:

The experienced painter must be responsible for preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. and provide superior customer service to tenants. The experienced painter is also responsible for the compliance with and training on Safety Policies and procedures and Fair Housing Law.

Job Requirements:

Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture

Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools

Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material

Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations

Responsible for ordering supplies and materials

Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem solving skills

Communicate effectively with tenants, guests, visitors and other staff

Ensure that all work has been completed in a safe, prompt and professional manner

Ability to be on-call for after hour emergencies

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

Be able to pass a background check

Two years minimum experience in general maintenance and/or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures and fix them

Employee must maintain reliable transportation, valid driver's license and valid car insurance

Position requires knowledge of Fair Housing laws

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work in fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

High level of professionalism and self-motivation

Position requires the ability to work unsupervised at times

Needs to be proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel, Android Tablet & Google Drive

Performs other job duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Employee will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, crawl, reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands; talk and hear. Employee may occasionally be required to climb. Employee may be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
