Downpour Coffee bar in Kirkland Redmond is a laid-back cozy neighborhood café, seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and skilled Barista to craft high-quality beverages and provide exceptional customer service and operate POS. You may have to do both for a period of time during the week.
Responsibilities:
-Craft delicious beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea drinks, following recipes and quality standards.
-Provide excellent customer service: Greet customers with a smile, take orders accurately, and engage in friendly conversation.
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and sanitized.
-Operate POS system: Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
-Follow health and safety guidelines: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
-Contribute to a positive team environment: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as a barista in a coffeeshop
- Passion for coffee: A genuine interest in coffee and a desire to learn and grow.
- Customer service skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a positive customer experience.
- Attention to detail: Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
- Team player: Willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Ability to multitask and handle pressure during peak hours.
-Previous barista experience is required
