We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-starting custodian to maintain not only the Vadis offices, but also perform basic grounds duties taking you outdoors to keep the entire property looking great. Your first day of work will be on September 24th!
Requirements
While not all-inclusive, the Vadis custodian will perform a variety of duties on a rotating and as-needed basis to include:
-Empty all wastebaskets and recyclable bins.
-Clean restrooms including a combination of the following: sinks, counters, urinals, toilets, stall walls, paper dispensers, mirrors, sweep floors, mop floors, stock all supplies, etc.
-Maintain floors: sweeping, vacuuming, dust-mopping, damp-mopping, spot cleaning, etc
-Spot clean carpets and walls.
-Maintain all sidewalks and outside grounds including weeding, litter collection, watering plants, and blowing leaves, etc.
-Clean all easily accessible surfaces including desks, shelves, windowsills, books, chairs, railings, counters, etc.
-Clean miscellaneous areas such as entry doors, conference rooms, lobby, coffee nooks, etc.
-Ensure all quality standards are met on all assigned tasks.
-Unload and stock all Vadis custodial supplies.
-Collect dishes, load/unload dishwasher, put dishes away.
-Maintain supplies and report supply needs to supervisor.
-Launder cleaning rags using onsite laundry facilities.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Pay and Benefits:
-This is a 30 hour per week position with a starting wage of $18 - $19 per hour.
-Full salary range for this position is $18 - $21 per hour, allowing for growth and longevity in the company.
-Medical and life insurance coverage at no premium cost to employee. Dependent coverage available at employee cost.
-Vision and dental insurance coverage available at low cost to employee. Dependent coverage available at employee cost.
-403(b) retirement plan, with up to a 6% company match dependent on contributions. (Match available after one year of employment).
-Vacation accrual begins at 3.5 hours per month.
-Sick Leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
-Employee Assistance Program available.
-Ten Paid Holidays for 2024.
-Hours of work typically run Monday through Friday, from 6:30am to 1:00pm. However, there is flexibility for an earlier start time.
