A Salesforce end-user company is hiring a Salesforce Release Engineer to join a robust Applications team. The position will work in confluence with teams of QA and DevOps Engineers to ensure accuracy in deployments, releases, rollouts, and other modifications to the Salesforce platforms (and it's integrated back-office systems like Gainsight, Oracle Fusion, WorkDay, NetSuite, etc). These will all be subject to regulations and compliance rules of FedRAMP, so this person will need to have experience either with FedRAMP compliance policies or experience in similar policies throughout the public sector. Job Requirements:
5+ years' experience with IT Applications in either release management, QA, or related roles
3+ years' experience with Salesforce
Light Salesforce Development experience
Experience with SFDC related back-office business systems like Oracle Fusion, Gainsight, NetSuite, Dell Boomi, WorkDay ERP, etc
Expert with CI/CD release tools like Jenkins, Kanban, Scrum, etc
Experience in an Agile / DevOps project lifecycle
Experience working with AWS, Python, Perl, Ant, etc
Basic Qualifications:
Certifications listed below are in order of relevance. These are preferred but not required - hands-on experience is considered over certifications
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
Agile Certified Practitioner
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies highly preferred (CSM / PMP certifications are also taken into consideration)
Bachelor's (B.S.) Degree, and Master's Degree or equivalent work experience, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field(s)
