Our Seattle/Olympia mechanic will maintain LTI, Inc.s Seattle and Olympia Fleets to the company standard, and will be responsible for daily maintenance activities at both locations. The Mechanic Supervisor will work with operations personnel and vendors to arrange for transportation equipment to be released from service for inspections, service, testing, or repair.

Daily activities will include DVIR management and preventative maintenance, assisting with opening TMT vendor and standard repair orders, ordering and managing parts inventory and driver supplies, and operating and maintaining an LTI, Inc. service truck. Additional daily tasks include assigning work for any vendors working on site and assisting operations with shuttling equipment to/from vendors for repairs.

Must be willing to work overtime and on-call as needed to maintain the fleet “ including emergency road calls.

Proficient use of OEM Software “ PACCAR DAVIE, Freightliner DDEC, Bendix, etc. required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Technical School degree in related field is recommended, or 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Employee must meet Department of Transportation requirements and must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License with Class A Air Brake. Employee must possess a DOT brake & annual inspector certificates/Air Conditioning Certificate.
