Liberty Tax Service in Mount Vernon, WA is now enrolling for our annual Tax School!
Do you find taxes confusing or intimidating? Have you always wanted to know more about how to file taxes? Tax School could be for you! In this free, online, self-paced program you will learn the basics of preparing individual tax returns. No prior knowledge or experience is required.
Upon completion of our tax school training program, we invite qualified applicants to work with us for the upcoming 2025 Tax Season. Employment ranges from part to full-time, with day and evening shifts available. Hourly wages will be supplemented by an end-of-season bonus, amounting to an additional $1 to $5/hour.
Preferred candidates will have:
The ability to learn quickly
Excellent attention to detail
Customer service skills
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual ability (especially Spanish) is a plus!
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and Windows, and basic technology like copier and scanner
Experience in tax preparation (not required) is a plus!
Enrollment in Tax School is free of charge. Completion of Tax School does not guarantee employment, however, we do hire directly from Tax School. If offered employment, wages range from $18.00 to $50.00/hour, depending on experience and/or bilingual status.
