Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, dedicated, and detail-oriented Food Server to join our team. As a server at our private golf and country club, you will provide exceptional dining service to our members and guests, ensuring a memorable experience with every meal. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and drinks in a timely, attentive, and courteous manner.
Ensure all guests’ needs are met during their meal, including refills, condiments, and special requests.
Be knowledgeable about the menu, daily specials, and wine list to make informed recommendations.
Set and clear tables, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
Process guest payments accurately and provide change when necessary.
Ensure a safe and compliant environment by adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
Assist with event setups and special functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a food server, preferably in a fine-dining or private club setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide outstanding service.
Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, with a willingness to learn about our menu and seasonal specials.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess a valid WA State Food Worker Card.
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
