We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and light snacks in a fast-paced cafe setting.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Assist in food preparation and light cooking tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of products
Qualifications:
- Experience with POS systems
- Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques
- Strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of retail math for transactions
- Familiarity with coffee brewing methods and equipment
- Previous experience in food service industry is a plus
- Understanding of food safety guidelines
