Family Care Network is expecting an exciting new addition to our family – Mount Vernon Family Health in downtown Mount Vernon in early June 2024!

Previous medical office and/or phone triage experience is a plus

Position: Full-Time 40 hours/week, Weekdays, non-exempt (hourly)

Bonus: Candidates are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus of $3,000 when accepting a full-time position (0.75 - 1.0 FTE) (Subject to payback clause). Additionally, employees are eligible annually to participate in discretionary bonus programs, as determined by FCN, which include the Years-of-Service bonus program, the Quality Performance bonus program, and the Performance Recognition bonus program.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing quality patient care within the appropriate scope of practice while adhering to FCN company policies and standards. This role also provides leadership to clinical staff as assigned by the Practice manager.

Leadership:

Clinical Excellence: Performs the clinical skill set of the MA-C/LPN role per FCN standards and act as a mentor as needed for staff to achieve competency.

Attends scheduled clinical leadership meetings to review Regulatory, performance, clinical, legal/ethical or process concerns.

Actively participates in and promotes FCN Initiatives.

Schedule staff as directed.

Participates in appropriate meetings and committees. (ie: CDC / Public Health updates, Clinical Department in services, Risk management meetings if assigned).

Participate in clinical staff meetings with the Practice manager or other departments if appropriate.

Review and approve timecards as directed by the Practice manager

Performance Observation:

Assist with timely completion of new hire clinical training competency form.

Assist with ensuring demonstration and observation of operational procedures that are site-specific are completed within the 90 days.

Additional Duties:

Provides patients with support and/or treatment over the phone as directed by provider(s).

Perform delegated functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards per FCN standards and Washington State Dept of Health scope of practice guidelines.

Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills in delivering safe, effective and therapeutic care of the patient per FCN standards.

Responds to patient phone messages, and processes requests, refills (within clinic protocols), and referrals in a timely manner.

Employee seeks assistance as needed and communicates questions in a timely manner and to appropriate staff.

Demonstrates competency in assisting providers as needed in procedures, visits and management of patient flow.

Additional duties as assigned.

An employee accrues PTO at a rate based upon the number of months of service at FCN. A new full-time employee generally accrues 18 days per year. EIB accrues based upon the number of paid hours excluding overtime, with a full-time employee accruing a maximum of 48 hours per year. Benefit eligibility is determined based on the full or part-time status of the position. Employees who are ineligible for FCN’s PTO/EIB programs accrue Paid Sick Leave per Washington State law.

Our 401k retirement plan is designed to support you in preparing for retirement planning and include individualized financial planning guidance. Eligibility for the FCN Retirement Plan programs is determined based upon years of service and required payroll hours.
