Scope of Work:
The scope of services we provide to clients include activities of daily living, transportation, exercises,
collecting vital signs, assisting with medications, comfort and life enrichment activities. In doing this
work, you will be expected to interact kindly, warmly, respectfully and with integrity to Serengeti
Care's clients, their family members, and friends and to all other care providers in all care settings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to

Please take note of the following responsibilities:
Assist with personal hygiene care, including oral care, baths (bed baths included), showers,
urinals, shaving, commodes, incontinence care, and personal grooming.
Help with all Activities of Daily Living and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living.
Provide a therapeutic presence by offering comfort, respect, privacy, empathy, listening, and
encouraging patients. Respond promptly to requests for residents or patients.
Initiate and assist with life enrichment activities based on resident or patient preferences and
the care plan.
Complete documentation of care using provided documentation tools.
Provide care and conduct oneself in a professional manner according to Serengeti Care
policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and safeguard all client and company information.
Skills and Qualifications:
Keep all required credentials and certifications current. This includes but is not limited to CNA,
NAR, HCA, CPR/First Aid, and Food Handler's permits.
Complete the required 12 hours of continuing education (CEs) annually by your date of birth.
Consent to have your background check conducted upon hire and then as needed thereafter.
Physical Abilities:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Be able to assist with transfers independently for clients who may be non-weight-bearing.
Be able to stand, walk, sit, and use stairs for the duration of your scheduled shift
