ABOUT ORCAS ISLAND PHYSICAL THERAPY
We are the only outpatient PT clinic on the island. As such, we see a good variety of patients, mostly orthopedic but some neuro as well. We serve a very active population here, with patients ranging in age from 6 -103.
We are a small, dynamic, collaborative and friendly practice. There are currently two full time PTs and one part time, and one full time PTA.
Our light-filled clinic overlooks the local park and we enjoy a great reputation among our island community.
This is a lovely place to work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Washington Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in collaborative teamwork
We are looking for someone whose heart is in patient care, with a collaborative work style and good time-management skills.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at Orcas Island Physical Therapy.
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with the physical therapists to provide therapy treatments, exercises, and interventions to patients. The PTA will evaluate and document patient progress and provide education to patients and their families/caregivers.
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time position starting at $30/hr DOE and includes benefits.
