Located in Anacortes, WA, the destination point for the beautiful San Juan Islands, Island Hospital is seeking candidates for the opportunity to join our team as the Materials Support Assistant. Island Hospital has been recognized for delivering award-winning quality care and this position is integral to supporting our Promise of providing the best healthcare experience to the community we serve.
The Materials Support Assistant performs a variety of daily tasks to ensure all departments have the right supplies at the right time, the correct amount and in the correct area. These tasks include ordering, replenishing, delivering, managing expiration dates of medical & surgical supplies for all assigned areas. Receives packages at the receiving docks and delivers to the correct departments in a timely manner. Helps maintain inventory and provides exceptional service to all departments.
Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare supply setting preferred.
