INTRODUCTION
A very patient and kind, middle aged TBI triplegic male needs a part-time live-in care provider (preferably, male, but open). Most care providers stay with him for many years due to his kind & pleasant disposition. Efficient and well oganized home environment with detailed training increases both the care provider's proficiency and comfort level.
SHIFT NEEDED:
Part time Live-In: 3 consecutive days/24 hours (Wed 8am - Sat 8am or Fri 8pm)
WAGE
Daily Rate per 24 hrs: $400+, plus Benefits & Annual Bonus
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide max assist with all ADL's
Perform one person bed mobility
Monitor client's health & wellbeing
Maintain safe, clean, supportive environment
Meal Prep; maintain dietary requirements
Medication Management
Documentation
Light Housekeeping
Assist client with community activities and volunteer work
Operation of client's accessible vehicle
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Credentials & Experience Needed for Position
Must be 25+ years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Active CNA (HCA allowed with proof of at least 1yr experience with medically involved clients)
Nurse Delegation
Current WA DL; clean driving record
Must have or acquire CDWA contract (consumerdirectwa.com)
Proven experience as an in-home Caregiver
Ability to follow Care Plan
Willing and physically able to perform required personal care and housekeeping chores
