Skagit Golf & CC is currently hiring a greenskeeper to join our Turf team. If you are someone who enjoys the sport of golf or the outdoors in general, you are encouraged to apply. Our greenskeepers maintain our golf course to live up to rigorous standards and membership expectations, and we are looking to add a dependable and hard-working individual to our staff.
We have a club culture of camaraderie, respect, and excellence. Applicants should possess solid communication skills and the desire to learn and grow. Punctuality, efficiency, and adaptability are a must. The ability to lift 50 pounds, work in inclement weather and be standing/walking most of the day are also required. Most routine tasks will revolve around bunker maintenance, mowing, and hand-watering. As we transition into the fall and approach the winter, the focus will shift from routine maintenance to projects on the golf course and tree removal.
Landscaping experience is helpful but not necessary. This position requires a valid driver's license. Pay for this position starts at $20.00 per hour. Generally, the hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm with every third weekend also requiring some hours.
