Are you eager to learn and grow in a hands-on, creative business? We are a local awards company (30 years in business) looking for a motivated apprentice to join our team!
What We're Looking For:
- Comfortable operating a Windows desktop computer
- Willing and able to learn business software such as Corel Draw, QuickBooks, and proprietary digitizing software for embroidery
- Friendly with strong customer relations skills
- Capable of working independently, managing orders from receipt to completion
- Detail-oriented with a high level of pride in job accomplishment
Responsibilities Include:
- Operating laser engravers, embroidery machines, printers, scanners, commercial sewing machines, heat presses, and scissor cutting
- Processing and fulfilling customer orders with accuracy and excellence
Position Details:
- Starting at 4 hours per day – flexible schedule and time off as needed
- More hours available as skills develop, leading to potential full-time independent work and/or possible business ownership opportunity
- No benefits offered; starting at minimum wage
- Subcontract arrangement with a no-compete clause
