Spring is here, it’s the perfect time of year to join our awesome team! Lefeber Turf Farm is looking for a friendly, hardworking, motivated individual to join us as a lot attendant. This position has lots of potential for growth and advancement within the company.
Job Description Summary:
As a lot attendant you will be responsible for greeting customers and helping to load orders, check on inventory, and build orders for pickup or delivery. You’ll also be helping our delivery drivers prepare their loads and verify vendor shipments as they arrive. We are looking for someone who can multi-task and prioritize throughout the workday. Additionally, you will be helping with various maintenance tasks, including mowing and cleaning equipment. See a detailed list of responsibilities below. Wage: depending on experience ($18-22/hr.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with loading orders
- Verifying & counting returns
- Checking product inventory
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Strapping down & securing delivery loads
- Setting aside products to prepare customer orders for delivery or pick-up
- Maintaining an organized work area in the shop & throughout the yard
- Fueling, greasing, and maintaining forklifts & other equipment
- Cleaning/detailing equipment
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
- Friendly customer service
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter
- Drivers License required
- Forklift experience a plus, but we are willing to train you.
- Requires lifting items at least 30lbs, occasionally up to 90lbs.
