Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established company in Burlington who is the industry leader in the manufacturing of composite materials and industrial fabrics. We are currently seeking reliable individuals to fill our available Operations Technician positions.
As anOperations Technician, you are tasked with safely and efficiently operating a variety of industrial machines and tools. The ideal candidate will have advanced mechanical skills; however, we are willing to train someone who shows drive and initiative to develop their mechanical skills.
This is a temporary position, but you may apply for a permanent position when it becomes available. Your position as a temp generally provides great benefit during the permanent position selection process, and this company promotes from within.
What you get to do:
- Perform a variety of manufacturing duties daily utilizing industrial equipment, such as band saws, multi-control ovens and forklifts, power and pneumatic tools, and hand tools requiring advanced mechanical skills. On-the-job training is available for this position.
- Follow process instructions and inspect finished product to ensure quality requirements are met.
What you need to be successful:
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met.
- All positions work in a team environment to produce high quality composite parts in a timely manner.
- Positions are expected to be able to work both independently and with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Pay: $21.00
Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED are required.
Physical Requirements: Excellent manual dexterity, lifting up to 40lbs, good eye-sight, able to work standing for long periods of time.
