Assist the public with vehicle and vessel title transactions and registrations, and be a member of the management team, actively participating and providing input in hiring, performance reviews and staff meetings.

Work history which demonstrates exceptional customer service.

Able to type 50+ WPM with 95% accuracy, with distractions (If selected for an interview, a typing test will be administered).

Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Detail oriented, with the ability to quickly assess and determine appropriate procedures with the confidence to solve problems.

A quick learner who enjoys challenges and has a high aptitude for complex transactions.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Work history demonstrating strong analytical and data-driven orientation and implementation.

The willingness and ability to study for and obtain Vehicle Licensing Representative certification within six months of employment.

Competent and proficient basic bookkeeping using financial record-keeping software such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel.

Valid Washington State Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle are required.

Extra Credit for:

The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

Your Typical Day at SAL Includes:

Contributing to your team’s successes by working cooperatively with a group of service-oriented, goal-driven co-workers.

Assisting the public with their title and licensing needs in an accurate, courteous and professional manner.

Performing data entry, including names and numbers, with accuracy.

Comprehending, interpreting, and implementing the State of Washington Department of Licensing laws and regulations as they pertain to vehicle/ vessel titling and licensing.

Reviewing documentation presented by customers and clearly informing customers with incomplete documentation of what is required in order to complete their requests.

Making the correct selections in State licensing system to ensure proper collection of fees and accurate transactions are produced.

Oversee the office functions when the COO is not in the office, including vacations.

Oversee VLR vacation scheduling.

Order and maintain licensing inventory.

Keep office supplies in stock.

Maintain records retention schedule and dispose of records accordingly.

Assure the facilities are clean, orderly, and safe, by ensuring staff chore rotation is followed.
