Environmental Abatement Services, Inc. is looking for a full time Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. We are a small family owned company that has been in business for 19-years, and are going stronger than ever.
Skills / duties required for this position:
AA Degree or 4-years’ experience in accounting
Knowledge of accounting techniques/procedures
QuickBooks software proficiency
Experience in QuickBooks payroll - (Weekly)
Entry of billing & credit card charges in QuickBooks
Audit open item receipts and AP aging
AP Filing
Proficiency with MS Office and Excel
Punctual and reliable
Payroll processing
Check runs
Bank deposits
Manage petty cash
Bank Reconciliations
Contract Review
Coordination of approved contract schedules through job scheduling
Filing of State Agency Permits for upcoming jobs
Maintain required business documents
Experience with month end
Experience doing quarterly and year end taxes
Prepare annual 1099's
Answering phones
Preform any and all functions as required by the Executive Team
