Responsibilities & duties include selling organic cheese, yogurt, meat and other local and organic products, making in-house signature brand items, quality control and product rotation, packaging cheese.
Requirements include retail selling experience, culinary skills for making in-house recipes, food handler permit, good communication skills, basic math. Should be passionate about cheese and food, physically fit, have food production/kitchen experience, be good at multi-tasking, working independently, working with others, be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and be at least 21 years old and able to get a Class 12 Alcohol Server Permit.
Reports to and works closely with owner.
Base starting pay is $17/hour. With tips, employees can be making $20.00/hour or more.
This position is four or five days and includes weekends. Samish Bay is growing and is looking for people who want to be part of a team effort to achieve success.
