Job description
A leading excavating company is in immediate need of an Estimator! This candidate needs to be able to pay attention to detail, be a self-starter, and have at least 5 years of experience in the industry.
Estimator Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates by analyzing project plans and specifications
Collaborate with project teams to determine project scope, goals, and timelines
Conduct thorough research to identify and select the most cost-effective materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Estimate labor, material, and equipment costs based on project requirements.
Estimator Qualifications
BS degree in construction management, civil engineering, business administration preferred.
5+ years of estimating for excavation, earthwork, grading, site development, and utilities
Proficiency in Estimating Software (e.g., ProEst, Trimble, BlueBeam, HeavyBid)
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
