What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is an experienced wood framer with strong leadership and communication skills.
-Experience: Proven experience as a wood framer in the construction industry.
-Knowledge: In-depth understanding and applied knowledge of construction practices, standards, IBC, and regional building codes.
-Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to successfully manage and motivate teams of 1-2 other carpenters.
-Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with superintendents and teammates.
-Work Ethic: The ability to show up to work consistently and on time.
-Tools: Must own basic framing tools (saw, gun, hose, tool belt).
-Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle and insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
-Installing rough framing lumber, sheet goods, timber, framing hardware, and EWP packages.
-Working as a team with other carpenters throughout the construction process.
-Providing mentorship and instruction to junior framers.
