VOLT’s client is looking for a Business Analyst

This is an estimated 3-month contract position in Spokane, WA. This is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support many of the top-rated IT companies in the US!
Length of Assignment - 3 months with likely extension after that.
Office/Remote - they are 100% remote at this time but want a person to be local
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst with good business processing mapping skills - preferable with a banking, payment processing, accounting, or finance background. They will be working directly to:

• Capture the current state of our client's payment systems, processes, channels, methods, and options
• Identify opportunities to improve the current landscape (e.g., process and system improvements)
• Point out risks
• Develop improvement recommendations to Divisional/Departmental and IT Leadership

Overview of the Business Analyst opportunity:

• Identify and interview stakeholders to elicit requirements for adds/changes to systems
• Gather and document requirements for statistical and financial reporting
• Review, analyze, evaluate, and document business and user requirements
• Develop task lists, timelines, and implementation strategy
• Collaborate with the Development and Testing teams to align requirements and solutions
• Document and identify process/workflow impacts to the organization

Qualifications of the Business Analyst candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years’ work experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong, demonstrated documentation, process mapping experience
• Advanced Microsoft skills
• Detail oriented, and analytical
• Problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills
