Retro Donuts is hiring for an all-new positionâ¦Weekend Service Star and Weekday Donut Baker!
Retro Donuts continues to grow and we are looking for a unique, motivated individual that is available to work weekends creating the BEST donut experience possible... and also working an early-bird weekday shift making the BEST donuts for our loyal Fanatics and first-time customers. This is currently a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week), but could become full-time as we expand into new markets.
Our ideal candidate must possess the following attributes to be considered for the Retro Donuts team:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Solid work history
- Self-starter with reliable transportation
- Enjoy taking care of customers of all ages to assure they have a great experience, every time
- Take pride in being professional and enjoy inspiring smiles with your own friendly demeanor and service style
- Are willing to learn and look forward to new opportunities to create amazing experiences for our Fanatics
- Commercial or home baking experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person to:
- Making cake donut batters and bake them on our awesome donut-robot fryer
- Preparing glazes, icings and fillings
- Maintaining a clean and tidy production area
- Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions, but also...
- The inspiration and ability to create unique and delicious new recipes and flavors
- The willingness to make every donut better than ever before
- No problem starting your work day very early (while most other people are still sleeping)
- Multi-tasking with a smile and a warm greeting for Retro Donuts Fanatics
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Cleaning dishes, pans, baking tools
- Sweeping and mopping floors, general cleaning
- Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and retain what you have learned
- Ability to work and thrive within a strong team environment, but also independently on various tasks
- Understanding of health-code and sanitation standards
- Must have current Washington State Food Worker Card
- Additional duties as required
- A great attitude (yes, this is a very important trait at Retro Donuts!)
