Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist. There is a job opening with great career growth potential and a great benefits package in this quickly growing accounting team. A successful candidate for this position will be ready to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. In this Accounts Receivable position, you will need to be a self-starter with high attention to detail, in order to succeed at handling 200+ invoices a week. This is a long-term Accounts Receivable position and is based in the Spokane Valley, Washington area.How you will make an impact
Square bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in diverse ledgers
Assist in setting up payment plans; contact clients to help resolve payment issues
Corroborate documents and codes
Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP
Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks
Requirements
1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Efficient in ERP systems
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Foundational knowledge in customer service
Data entry experience - speed and accuracy
