Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerPlacement Type: 6 Month Contract to Hire Job DescriptionAs a Design Engineer, you will work with our entire engineering team to develop, design, draft, test, and deliver the highest-level quality aerospace parts and tooling. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn different aspects of Engineering. When you are not drafting our next great design, you will work with the team engineers directly and provide critical assistance. This means you will be exposed to testing, design, tooling, and actual manufacturing. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong drive for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and a high aptitude for learning.Hard Skills
Experience with Catia or Creo
Prior drafting and modeling experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Previous experience with Aerospace quality systems and controls
Previous experience with process investigation, characterizations, and optimization
Previous exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles
