Description Job Description:We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced Bookkeeper/AR/AP professional, Kasia Lopez, who will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company complies with regulatory standards while maintaining our financial efficiency.Responsibilities:

Monitoring and analyzing business operations to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Collaborating closely with the accounting and finance teams to facilitate accurate financial management and reporting, credit account reconciliation, invoice processing, bill entries, and bank reconciliations.

Overseeing all aspects of AR/AP including receiving payments, planning cash flow, commercial billing, payroll, collections, and check runs.

Using her extensive experience with software like QuickBooks, Oracle, PeachTree, Sage, MS Suite and Google Suite to manage and maintain financial records.

Preparing and providing timely, accurate financial reports and statements to management.

Participating in internal audits and providing recommendations as necessary.

Assisting in the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Continuously researching and staying updated on changes within governmental, manufacturing, and small businesses and brokerage industry regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven track record as a bookkeeper, AR/AP specialist, or similar role.

Extensive experience with QuickBooks, Oracle, PeachTree, Sage, MS Suite, and Google Suite.

Strong experience within the brokerage, small business, government, or manufacturing industries.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various departments.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Willingness to continue learning and adapting in a constantly changing industry.
