Find your future with us.KC-46 BGS Engineering is seeking a motivated Mulit-Skilled Engineering Manager (Level K) to lead the KC-46 Sustainment Systems Engineering Integration Test (SEIT) in Everett or Tukwila, WA . Candidate would be responsible for strategically leading multi-skilled team toward technical and business excellence for systems engineering activities. The KC-46 Sustaining SEIT team is responsible for technical integration across both BGS and BDS stakeholders in support of domestic and International customers. This position will report directly to the KC-46 Sustainment Chief Engineer.Position Responsibilities:

Leads engineering integration in areas of Proposal development, Reliability & Integrity Programs, IRAD Digital Tool development, Subscriptions Services, and sustainment technical change board activities.

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering and Boeing Company processes.

Ensure customer commitments are understood, documented, communicated, and delivered on-time with first-time quality

Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

Monitors and executes to a planned budget to support Earned Value Management best practices.

Partner with other functional managers across BGS and BDS in order to obtain resource commitments necessary to successfully accomplish program objectives within budget and schedule.

Coordinate supplier engineering requirements support with Supplier Requirements Engineering (SRE) capability leaders.

Provide appropriate staffing and skill sets to meet teams deliverables.

Manages, motivates, and works with employees to help them develop and achieve development milestones consistent with their career goals.

Drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives to increase efficiency and competitiveness

Lead and contribute to risk, issue, and opportunity management

Lead and contribute to platform safety review boards

Security Clearance:This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.

5+ years of experience in engineering.

3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role (either as a lead or a manager)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with military aircraft sustainment and post-production modifications

Previous management experience

1+ years of experience in system engineering, including system architecture, requirements and interface development and allocation, verification and validation.

Experience applying Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to include project planning / scheduling and applying Earned Value Management (EVM).

Experience with Program Management, including scheduling and Cost Account Manager (CAM) Earned Value Management (EVM)

Typical Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Travel:Occasional travel (20%) may be required in support of the program and customer.Hybrid/Telecommute:This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Tukwila, WA. Everett, WA).
