Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is actively seeking a E-7 Manufacturing Engineer (Level 3 or Level 4) to Lead our Propulsion ME team at the Thompson Site in Tukwila, WA area. This Lead level position will be our Program Focal for all Production Engineering Activities in support of the Propulsion Systems Package including Installations/Test/Delivery Support as required. On the E-7 we are highly focused on creating a fully integrated ME team that mirrors the successful Culture that we have on our P-8 Program for Production Engineering. Gather and define system level requirements for Parts, Plans, and Tools.
Support design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/ system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
Support troubleshooting of delivered product operational / service anomalies and incidents.
Participate in new business development efforts.
Work under general supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
