Together we are empowered to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of our communities.ResponsibilitiesFranciscan Medical Group has an opportunity for a .9 FTE Pediatrician to join our team in the Tacoma Metro Area. Our new Pediatrician will be working with 3 experienced Pediatricians. Lab available on site. This position includes mostly outpatient clinic visits in University Place with newborn rounding at St. Joseph Medical Center for 1 week every 6-7 weeks. Newborn rounders see newborns Monday thru Friday mornings then go back to the clinic late morning to see outpatients the rest of the day.Weekend call is approximately every 8 weeks from Friday at 5:00 PM until Sunday at 7:00 PM, with responsibility for rounding on all newborns at St. Joseph Medical Center on Saturday and Sunday mornings. "Back-up" call is about every 8 weeks and includes Saturday morning clinic from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Medical Clinic, then phone call from Sunday night 7Pm until 8 AM Monday morning.Pediatrician willing to perform newborn circumcisions.Requirements include:
Medical Degree
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics)
Active Washington State Medical License in good standing prior to start date
