This area is a hot bed for news, so you will have the opportunity to work on all kinds of news stories, ranging from politics to weather to sports. You will collaborate with our assignment desk, producers and correspondents and learn how to get a network news story on the air from the ground up.    ResponsibilitiesProviding editorial support to the NBC news assignment desk- making phone calls, booking interviews, logging press conferences. Assisting producers with location support, including booking travel and scouting live shot positions.    Pitching, researching, and developing stories for various platforms.
