We are looking for an experienced Yard Shunter to join our Washington depot, supporting a busy chilled logistics operation. This is a dedicated yard-based role, ideal for someone who has previous shunting experience and is looking for a stable, consistent shunting position rather than a driving role on the road.Shift pattern: Friday to Monday from 18:00 - 06:00What you’ll be doing@Moving trailers safely on and off loading bays throughout the shift.Supporting yard safety by monitoring, patrolling and maintaining safe yard movements.Operating a dedicated yard-based shunting vehicle.Helping ensure trailers are positioned correctly and loaded on time.Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams to keep the operation running smoothly.Liaise with other departments to support smooth loading and unloading.Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
