Job Description:
Neu Flessenow Cellars is a family owned boutique winery up scenic Eagle Creek Canyon in Leavenworth, WA. There is an exciting opportunity as a Tasting Room Server to join our team. As a tasting room server, you will share your knowledge of Neu Flessenow Cellars premium wine, provide exceptional service, and create an intimate experience for each of our guests. Neu Flessenow Cellars offers a private getaway to embrace the outdoors without sacrificing the downtown convenience. We are looking for someone who shares the excitement about working in an energetic environment, loves providing world-class customer service to our guests, and possesses a great attitude and solid work ethic.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Experience in a high-volume winery, restaurant, hospitality and/or retail space preferred
Broad knowledge of wine and/or a passion to learn. We will train the right candidate
Goal motivated with sales experience a plus
Flexible schedule – willing to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills necessary
Ability to keep calm, professional and respectful demeanor in a busy environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct tastings and answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines
Monitor and replenish inventory of wine cellar, equipment, and glassware
Complete safety training and certifications
Understand and use POS programs to process sale transactions
Perform kitchen work including preparing cheese and meat boards, dishwashing, and cleaning duties
Maintain general cleanliness of the building (wine cellar, lobby area,and server stations)
Comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation
Team player – including a willingness to help fellow employees when busy
Physical Requirements:
Lift 40lb
Stand and walk for long periods of time

Pay:
Wage $20/hour plus tip pool
