Key Responsibilities:
-Greet guests with a smile and warm welcome as they enter the restaurant.
-Manage guest reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently.
-Escort guests to their tables, offering menus and an overview of the dining experience.
-Answer the phone promptly, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
-Maintain an organized front-of-house area, ensuring the dining room is clean and inviting.
-Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
-Provide guests with information about the menu, specials, and restaurant concept.
-Monitor guest satisfaction and assist with any special requests or concerns.
-Assist with setting up and maintaining the host station, ensuring all materials are stocked and available.
-Support other team members, including servers and bartenders and kitchen staff, as needed.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a host or customer service role preferred, but not required.
-Friendly and welcoming attitude with a passion for hospitality.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to stand for extended periods and handle occasional physical tasks.
