Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is a dynamic, progressive community health center with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. CVCH is a modern, well-equipped Community Health Center, with fully integrated EMR, and our services include Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health.

We have an excellent opportunity in our Wenatchee location. The position will initially start as a WIC Clerk and will advance to a WIC Certifier as training and competencies are achieved.

The WIC Clerk's primary job functions are to:

• Provide direct WIC services to applicants/clients by conducting client interviews and assessments to determine eligibility for WIC.

• Provide nutrition and breastfeeding education.

• Complete client referrals and WIC department duties.

The successful candidate will have a:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Must be willing to be trained on blood hemoglobin testing and complete WA State Registration as a Medical Assistant.

• One year experience working in an office setting.

• Previous experience working in WIC, but not required.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

• Required to travel to each site location on a scheduled basis to perform position duties.
