Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to support our daily operations. This role requires a bilingual individual who can effectively communicate in both English and Spanish, manage a team of 10-15 employees, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
This position will be combo of day and night work depending on work load.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Oversee a team of 10-15 employees, providing leadership, guidance, and support. Ensure that all team members are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
Communication: Serve as a key point of contact between management and staff. Ensure clear and effective communication in both English and Spanish to facilitate smooth operations.
Operational Support: Step in to clean and assist with tasks when needed, particularly during high-demand periods, employee call-outs, or vacations.
Scheduling & Coordination: Assist in scheduling shifts and coordinating coverage to maintain optimal staffing levels at all times.
Training & Development: Provide training to new hires and ongoing support to existing staff to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning services meet or exceed client expectations. Address any issues or complaints promptly.
Problem-Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve operational challenges as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
Qualifications:
Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the commercial cleaning industry.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and clients.
Flexibility: Willingness to step in and perform cleaning duties when necessary.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected situations with ease.
Must have a clean driving record.
