Job Overview: We are seeking a Commercial Construction General Laborer to join our construction team. As a member of our crew, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites, loading, and unloading materials and equipment, basic carpentry, and demolition, assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
Responsibilities:
1) Work outdoors throughout all seasons
2) Operate forklift to load and unload materials.
3) Lift, carry, stage, and hold building materials with co-worker
4) Setting up temporary walls, barricades, safety barriers
5) Dig trenches, backfill holes, spread gravel
6) Minor demolition of existing structures.
7) Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
8) Site cleanup of construction debris
9) Minor carpentry skills for miscellaneous pick-up work
10) Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming housekeeping
Requirements:
1) 2 years’ experience being on/around construction sites
2) Be comfortable working with hand and power tools – circular saws, drills, roto hammers, chop saws, Sawzall etc.
3) Have a safety focused mindset
4) Physical stamina and agility to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
5) Certification or completion of forklift and boom lift training
6) Must be able to provide own transportation to various job sites in North Central Washington
7) Physically able to lift 50lbs
8) Must be able to pass a drug test.
