Position Description:
We are seeking a successful Inventory Control/Warehouse Supervisor to work alongside our production, sales and distribution teams. Along with maintaining inventory, the candidate will work with the Purchasing Manager and Production teams to manage proper inventory levels of products. Candidate will manage all inventory and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at desired levels and that all products are of good quality when received and inventory information entered upon receipt.
Product is a variety of wet, dry and refrigerated items sourced from multiple vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities of this position are but not limited to:
Do not process items that are not acceptable or do not meet specifications, contacting the Purchasing Manager.
Communicate with Purchasing, Shipping & Production regarding incoming shipments
Establish and encourage a culture of accountability.
Moving product and materials in or between plants with a company truck or forklift.
Loading and unloading supply trucks with a forklift.
Keeping team members informed of any inventory issues.
Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of all products and check quantities for upcoming orders to ensure accuracy and availability.
Assure the integrity of the inventory.
Ensure inbound shipment count is accurate to purchase order.
Ensure inbound shipments are received into the inventory system within 24 hours.
Establish and encourage a culture of accountability.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong people skills.
Clean and current Washington State driver’s license.
Forklift experience.
Positive, self-motivated attitude
Inventory and warehousing experience
Attention to detail & strong organizational skills
Ability to work hands on to help where needed.
Strong communication skills will be working with all departments.
Some computer skills, we will train on company system.
