This rewarding position is all about providing fun, educational, and rewarding activities for our highly active and younger adult residents with Developmental Disabilities. Facilitate leisure, exercise and recreation activities, as part of independent living-skills building. Ensure health, safety and well being of clients. Have fun! Be creative! Be active! Expand client's knowledge of, and access too, recreational activities. Be outside in all seasons/weather conditions for regular and prolonged activities. Facilitate hiking, biking, skiing, volunteer clean up activities, fun walks/runs-be a visible and active part of our community!
Experience leading physical activities, and HCA or CNA or similar certification or training a plus. Patience and a positive supportive attitude is highly valued! We are growing and our programs are expanding.
This position is approximately 32hrs per week, primarily Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday, with some flexibility. Thank you for your cover letter so we can get to know you better and why this position is appealing to you, and resume.
