Eastside Cycleworks is a busy bike and ski shop in beautiful Leavenworth, WA. Just a stone’s throw from the sweet Cascade singletrack and epic skiing, we have a busy service department that is the lifeblood of our business. In addition, we have a sales floor with Transition, Santa Cruz, Trek, and Salsa bikes as well as a large demo/rental fleet.
In the winter, we mount/wax/tune skis, sell Nordic ski gear, fat bikes, and have a sizeable ski and snowboard rental operation.
Eastside is seeking a ski tech or ski/bike tech with experience mounting, tuning, and repairing skis. This person will oversee the service department this winter, manage the workflow, and also oversee the rental operation. This includes maintaining our rental fleet, testing our bindings weekly, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
In the lead-up to winter, this person will also be responsible for helping take in bike service, sending out rental bikes, and providing trail advice to customers.
This position will feature a heavy amount of customer interaction, and a positive/warm attitude is critical. Technical skills are important, but creating a welcoming environment is essential.
The schedule will include weekends. This is non-negotiable. The schedule could be Friday-Monday or Saturday-Tuesday. This is a perfect opportunity for the skier/rider who wants to get out and enjoy the winter on weekdays and avoid the crowds.
