Overview:

Chelan PUD is preparing for a major transition from our current PeopleSoft ERP system to a modern, cloud-based ERP platform. We are seeking Enterprise Application Analysts (entry to senior level) who can both support existing enterprise applications and help lead our modernization initiative. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the largest technology transformations in our utility’s history.

Position Summary:

The Enterprise Application Analyst supports the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise business systems, including PeopleSoft (HR and Finance), Maximo, Primavera, C2M (Customer to Meter), and Itron AMI. The Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring system reliability, user support, workflow configuration, and integration across various platforms.

As part of our ERP transformation, this role will also help assess, select, implement, and optimize a new cloud-based ERP platform. Candidates must be comfortable working across technical and business teams and should have strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities (all levels include but are not limited to):

- Support and administer enterprise applications

- Provide technical troubleshooting and resolve software-related issues

- Configure and maintain system integrations

- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements

- Develop and run SQL queries and reports

- Participate in software upgrades, testing, and documentation

- Coordinate with users, vendors, and IT staff to implement solutions

- Ensure security and data integrity

- Contribute to or lead ERP modernization projects

(Analyst III only) Mentor junior staff and provide strategic input on enterprise systems

Compensation:

The starting salary range for Enterprise Application Analyst I is $72,960 - $91,200 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $109,440, annualized.

The starting salary range for Enterprise Application Analyst II is $87,840 - $109,800 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $131,760, annualized.

The starting salary range for Enterprise Application Analyst III is $109,600 - $137,000 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $164,400, annualized.

Introductory Period: New employees holding regular positions must complete an introductory period of twelve months.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education (All Levels):

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required; Equivalent experience may substitute for degree year-for-year.

Experience:

Analyst I: At least 1 year of experience in IT systems support, programming, or administration preferred

Analyst II: At least 2 years of experience in enterprise systems support or a related field required. Utility industry experience preferred

Analyst III: At least 5 years of experience in enterprise systems support or ERP implementation required. Experience with District enterprise applications preferred. Utility experience strongly preferred.

Certifications:

Application-specific certifications (e.g., PeopleSoft, Maximo, Oracle) are preferred. Analyst III preferred to hold certifications in two or more systems used by the District.

Skills and Abilities:

Analyst I:

- Basic programming and SQL

- Understanding of system design and documentation

- Problem-solving, analytical thinking

- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively

Analyst II:

- Intermediate programming in multiple languages

- SQL query creation and data analysis

- Strong understanding of enterprise systems and system integration

- Ability to gather business requirements and translate into technical specifications

Analyst III:

- Advanced ERP technical and functional knowledge

- Strong SQL expertise including tuning and optimization

- Strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Project management and mentoring capabilities

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

- Most work is performed in an office environment with some remote work flexibility

- Frequent use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment

- Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 lbs

- Requires regular sitting and keyboard use

Background Screening:

Due to NERC requirements, this position requires background screening for individuals with access to critical infrastructure systems.
