We are seeking an experienced technology professional to join our team and complete client deployments, migrations, network projects and provide tier 2/3 support. This position is also the lead cybersecurity engineer and responsible for internal and clients’ cybersecurity defenses, breach investigations, etc. Pay is dependent on qualifications. Example projects:
Configure and deploy on premise Hyper-V servers, Windows DC and RD servers
Configure and support VPN solutions
Migrate on premise servers to Azure
Configure hybrid AD – Entra deployments
Complete cybersecurity reviews and improvement action plans
Evaluate cybersecurity products and deliver suggestions for integrating into security stack
Your background: You have previous experience as a network technician and have a solid grasp of networking, Windows servers, Microsoft 365 and desktop troubleshooting. You value standard, reliable processes, have experience creating them, are willing to take the time to “do things the right way” and document results. You care about solving clients’ issues and take satisfaction in doing so. You listen, are empathetic, communicate well, and can implement solutions without much outside direction. You are interested in a position that gives you flexibility and a chance to work independently while building ongoing, trusted relationships with clients.
You have skills and experience that match most of the following:
Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory and RD administration and deployment
Administration of DNS, DHCP, SMB and other common networking protocols
Windows desktop PC setup, imaging, and troubleshooting
Ubiquiti Unifi controller and devices
Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration
Microsoft Azure and Entra configuration and management
Dell OMSA and server troubleshooting
Familiarity with backup and business continuity software
Familiarity with configuring business routers such as SonicWall and Fortinet
Experience with layered security tools, configuration, and remediation of cyber threats
Other important qualifications, include:
Strong, non-techie communication skills
Familiarity with RMM, PSA, and ticketing tools
Ability to work independently and learn new skills
Reside in current service area (eg North Central Washington)
