Position summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales and Service Representative. This position involves a blend of sales and customer support, working directly with clients to understand their needs, sell them appropriate insurance products, and provide outstanding service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop leads, identify customer needs, and market appropriate insurance products and services.
Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Process payments, policy changes, and other customer requests accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and grow a book of business by cross-selling and upselling to existing clients.
Contact prospective clients to expand the customer base and generate new business.
Assist clients with the insurance claims process and answer coverage-related questions.
Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and state regulations.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
Licensing: Must possess a valid Property & Casualty license.
Experience: At least one year of experience in insurance sales or customer service preferred.
Communication skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Technical skills: Proficiency with computer functions and ability to learn and use insurance-specific software (CRM).
Problem-solving: Proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Salary: Salary + Commission
Benefits: Health and accident insurance, SIMPLE IRA with company matching.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday 8-5, Friday 9-5
